1. RPPs are "RED-centric", which means that the light path is optimized for maximum resolution and consistent illumination, with minimum breathing for the Mysterium sensor family. Patent Pending.
2. T-stop range is 1.8-22.
3. Image diagonal- > 32mm.
4. Extra low dispersion (ELD), Super Low Dispersion (SLD) and anomalous dispersion glass for maximum chromatic aberration correction.
5. Center resolution is greater than 100 (lines pairs/mm). Edge (5K) is greater than 63 (lines pairs/mm).
6. Close focus from lens front (from sensor) is: 25mm- 4" (12"), 35mm- 4" (12"), 50mm- 6" (12"), 85mm- 18" (24") and 100mm- 24" (30").
7. High relative illumination from center to edge of field (5K).
8. Uniform Spectral correction to accommodate any light source.
9. Internal Focus and Unit Focus designs.
10. Consistent 110mm front diameter.

2008 was definitely a Red Camera year for Vietnam. Out of six major feature films, five were shot on the Red Camera while only one was shot on 35mm. The four feature films in Vietnam that we worked on were 14 DAYS, Passport To Love, Saving The Death and Choi Voi. In addition, we provided Red Cameras and crew for a major Russian TV movie shot in Vietnam titled "History of the Pilot" directed by famous Russian director Aleksandr Buravsky. We feel very fortunate for being able to be a part of these groundbreaking projects and want to thank all of our client's who took the bold move to shoot RED. |

Tonaci Digital provides Red Camera rental and services for feature film "14 Days."
This is the first feature film to begin shooting in Vietnam on RED.
The production company behind this film, Chanh Phuong Phim, was very successful
with their first feature "The Rebel" which was picked by the Weinstein company.
We are currently filming in Ho Cho Minh City and will be going down south
to the countryside of Soc Trang. The film is about a Vietnamese expatriate who
spends his two-week vacation visiting his home country which has undergone remarkable
economic reforms. His journey to discover his home country and reestablish his roots
is met with obstacles that change his life. |

This is the first independent feature to begin shooting in the United States on RED.
We are currently filming in the beautiful state of North Carolina. Below is a brief intro:
"Based on a true story, this film shares with us a decade in the lives of Jimmie Lewallen and
his wife Carrie as they experience the joys of love and marriage alongside the tragedies of
war and poverty (1939-1949). Jimmie and his friends, Bill Blair and Fred Harb, find escape
from life's challenges in racing born out of hauling moonshine on warm North Carolina
evenings and inadvertently become racing's earliest heroes. Ultimately, their antics laid the
groundwork for what has become one of the most lucrative sports in the world."
